Is it too early?

I ovulated June 20-23, so last week was my most fertile week. We had sex almost every day. This past Thursday and Friday I had light brown discharge which I am hoping was implantation bleeding. I tested yesterday morning, and the pregnant test was negative. Is it too early to show a positive?

Before I knew I was pregnant probably a week after I conceived I had light brown discharge & then light red spotting, both times there's was a very small amount

So you're about 7-10dpo? 
You could try a first response but I would try wait a few more days. False negatives can occur depending on your HCG levels, it doubles every 48 hours. I got a positive at 12dpo on a first response early response. Baby dust to you  xx

Your body will start to make hcg about 2-3 days after implantation. Depending on what test you use you might not see a line for days
