Preseed leading to more than one baby?

Preseed is to help sperm reach the egg but would it increase the chance of many sperm reaching resulting in twins or triplets?

So what happens is, you release this one egg, and as soon as one sperm makes it through, your baby starts forming and multiplying but then the cells split and form 2 separate groups and tahdah, you have identical twins. 
Or
 You release two eggs that month and so 2 separate sperm fertilize two separate eggs and there you have fraternal twins.

No hun it will not. If twins run in the males family theres always a chance. But preseed will not increase chances of twins at all. You either have to release 2 eggs, or the egg the sperm fertilized divides into 2 embryos

I would love to know if there’s any research on this! 
Also, I believe that only fraternal twins run in families, and that it’s the mother’s side that matters, not the father’s. What’s actually relevant is the chances that the woman will release more than one egg (hyper ovulation), which can run in families.
