How are your parents dealing with the fact they don't have grandchildren yet?

My parents and sister can't wait for us to have babies. His parents can't either but it's my family who say in general 'when you have children' etc. I'd love to tell them we are ttc but I have a feeling it'll take us a while 😕 we've been trying for 6 months already 😞

My mother is very impatient lol. Tells me or one of my siblings (4 of us) to give her a grandchild. Called her last week and told her I have a secret, she got it out of me. I let her know that we are finally TTC. She's excited. Haven't told my father yet. I want to wait with him as he still treats me like a baby 😒 Says I can't have kids now, too young, Blah, blah lol. I'm 23! But I know he'll be happy, if and when it happens.

Recently I read about another glow user being heartbroken because her baby sister is pregnant because of an accident. I reflected about it because both my parents and my grandmother at hugely heartbroken because of this last 6 yrs TTC with my SO and getting nothing but bad news, BFN and way less money. My only brother married 4 years ago and now my sister in law Said se has PCOS and she's on the pill. My mom is so heartbroken that I can barely see her in the eye without crying. She wanted so bad to be a grandmother, as much as I want to become a mother. My dad blames my SO because we took some years for ourselves befor TTC (I was 31 when we meet, 36 when we started TTC) my grandmother said she want to give me her estate but she's worried Old fashion way, about no heir yet.

Mine are fine with it and being patient. I know my mom is really starting to look forward to grandchildren and she'll hint at it here and there that she's waiting for them lol. But neither of them are impatient about it.
