Artificial Womb 😱

I just saw a video on Facebook about an artificial womb. It grows the baby for you and you can even choose your child's personality traits and physical traits.

I think it's ridiculous. I think for women who can't carry children, it would be good for them, but not to pick their children's personality or anything. But for a healthy woman, it's stupid.

You don't get to feel kicks, you don't get to bond with your unborn child that way, and to me, it's dangerous because the government could practically make robots that will just follow mindlessly what the government wants. It's sad.

I will always feel like one of the biggest parts of being a mother is carrying your child. Of course, this isn't an option for everyone. Which is why I say that for women like my friend who has had too much of her uterus removed, it would be pretty neat. But it shouldn't be used just for a woman to get out of carrying her child for 9 months.
