Under certain circumstances, should bail be stricter? (This is the poll question you answer)

Now I know they (sometimes) already take away bail or make it so high no one can pay. But other times when someone does something horrible they still get bail. I personally think that's wrong. Here is an example. But your answer does not have to be based on this, like I said it's just an example so you get the idea. This officer was killed by a drunk driver and was released on bail right after. He killed someone and they let him out. I personally do not agree with that. I think he should have to stay in jail until they sentence him to prison time. Now also remember, I know we can do nothing about it but this is just for personal views.
