Starting primrose oil ?

Anyone else start taking evening primrose oil capsules orally at 35 weeks? My doctor said to wait til 36 but I've read other women on here saying they started early.

I'm waiting until 36 weeks, but I take 2 orally and and 2 vaginally. The purpose of the primrose oil is to soften and ripen the cervix. Also, a tid bit most don't know, semen does the same thing as well. :)

I started at 36 weeks with my daughter and she was born at 39 weeks 3 days. Idk if the primrose did it but I'm going to do it again for this pregnancy. 2 weeks before I can start!!!

I'm going to start as well since I'm 36 weeks but I've only really heard of women having good results from inserting them vaginally. Wondering how well it works with taking it orally too.......?
