I went to the tattoo/piercing shop and they said hypertrophic scarring? Is that what this is? How long until it's gone? I got my nose pierced a month or 2 ago. I had this "scar" for about 2 weeks

I had this al the time at the beginning. It's normal, but there are defiantly ways to help it go away.  I just avoided putting makeup and and any products that could dry out the skin even more

I had this problem to I made my own salt water mixture! Make sure you boil the water though. Then let it come down to room temperature because of the bacteria in the water. Then I used 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Use a Cotten ball and let that sit on the outside. I also used as very small about of a bactroban. That seemed to help

I got some aspirin added water made a paste and put it on my nose every night before bed 👌🏽 did wonders

Use the solution they gave you to clean it with a qtip. And if that didn't help, the piercing place I went to suggested I mix some tea tree oil and warm water instead and apply that with a qtip before bed

When I got my nose pierced I had something like this but it was more of a bump, at first I tried steam treatment with hot water and salt but when that didn't work I used rubbing alcohol (even though everyone says not to) and it worked wonders. Was gone within a week with no scarring
