I am a little conflicted ladies. My husband and I have decided that we don't want anyone but medical staff in the room with us when in labor and a few hours after she is born, but his mother wants to be in the room when my husband holds her for the first time. Who knows when that is going to be?! My husband is ok with this too but I don't want to have to wait for me to be ready to have visitors to have my husband hold my daughter. I don't want to have to worry about when he holds her. I want him to hold her when the time feels right and not have to worry about what state I am in. I'm just at a loss. I don't know what to do.
