Yes i did with my twins and i was sent for biopsy it came back positive so it was declared downs syndrome. I refused to abort because of downs syndrome i loved my babies and went on to give birth. It was so ironic because my babies were born perfect no downs but sadly i lost them to other conditions not picked up in pregnancy. My girl i lost at 2 hours old due to a rare heart condition and my boy at 11.5wks due to puenumonia and menningjitous. How they defeated the odds on downs yet died from completely something else. Hope your test comes back ok. Prayers and hopes.

Im sorry u Went thru that ! ,, my 20 months old has a genetics disorder that is very rare called Methylmalonic acid and it was not picked in he amniocentesis, they thought that he has Down syndrome when I got the results back was negative for all the downs , his disease was picked in the born scre

so sorry to hear that! i lost my son in january at 15 days old to osteogenesis imperfecta. so im freaking out over everything with this baby. ive been told the extra fluid could be a heart defect, downs, turners syndrom, OI AGAIN, or even nothing. but the heart defect and OI could be lethal and im terrified. downs and turners i can deal with. i cant bury another child
