Anyone else on blood thinners this pregnancy??

Question

In a couple of weeks when my pregnancy is confirmed to be in my uterus..I will have to start lovenox injections. I'm already taking folgard and baby aspirin due to my two blood clotting disorders. Anybody else in the same boat?!?

You'll be fine :) my sister had to do the same thing. She hated it bc she hates needles.  Now she has a healthy 8month old baby girl :)

I had to take the exact same injections with my first pregnancy due to my Factor five blood condition, I'm sure I'll have to do the same with this pregnancy as well, I'll be honest I hated them mainly because I had giving myself shots and after a while I started bruising. I'm not looking forward to it... See if there is any way you can do anything else I'm sure two blood thinners are a little much...however I'm no doctor..good luck sweetie!!!

Yes. I've had hypertension since I was 22 (now 34) and I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second child. My Dr told me last week he wants me on Ecotrin (like aspirin) to prevent pre eclampsia and I'm also on BP medication.

I'm just on Baby Asprin. Been on blood thinners for 1 year due to TIA in May of '15. Had to stop taking anti-epileptic meds once I became pregnant.

I was started on aspirin and folgard in March after having a stillborn baby at 31 weeks due to my clotting disorders. I'm just nervous about the lovenox!
