OVULATION TEST QUESTION!!

Ok so last night(Wednesday) after i got off work i went and got the clear blue ovulation tests, the ones with either a circle or a cute smily face, well i chose to use the pee in a cup method because the stick is so tiny and right away a smily face showed up, well my glow calendar said i should also be ovulating today too and i got a circle today. Can someone please explain this to me as to why this might happen? My husband and i have been trying to have a baby for 10 months now with no luck and i just find it strange that my glow calendar says im ovulating still eventhough the test i took says otherwise.
