Did u spot after having your pap?

Yesterday I went to the doc for my pap smear and the lady was kinda rough!! When I got home there was some blood mixed with cm!! I know it's normal but freaked me out!!! Did this happen to anyone else??

Your cervix is sensitive and full of blood and if they don't know how to do an exam with out hurting you then you bleed. It's not a big deal as long as it stops bleeding. Lay down for a bit and put your feet up.

At 15 weeks I had a pap that felt rough too. I spotted that night (clots and a lot of mucus) and went in the next morning. Had an ultrasound and everything looked ok. 
I was told cramping and spotting was normal. My cramps continued. I told myself to be tough, but went into labour miscarried the next night. I honestly believe she broke my mucus plug. 
When I called in distress she didn't answer as she was home on a 'staycation'. We live in a small town so I knew where she was and that she was screening her calls. 
I'll never trust a midwife again. 
And, will never have a pap while pregnant again.

Go to a midwife. They do women's well checks and are much gentler with you.

It happened to me with my first pregnancy. We just have very sensitive cervixs. As long as you have no cramping or the spotting doesn't increase to bleeding then your good. No need to worry but keep an eye on it 😊
