Career in the medical field!?!

Okay so I'm wanting to start college for something in the medical field.. was thinking about RN, LPN, radiologist,  sonogram,  surgical first assistant etc.. Do you have a career in the medical field? What's your duties? Annual salary? Was paying for college worth it? How do I sort out what I want to do with rest of my life?

I'm about to graduate nursing school and honestly it's the hardest thing I've done in my life but so worth it. But you have to be dedicated and you have to be willing to deal with anything. I don't know where you are but I'm in Pennsylvania and I believe LPNs around where I am make probably an average of around $20 something an hour, and I did have to pay a lot monthly to even go to school, but like I said, totally worth it.

I'm an RN in the ICU.  I love my job!  I work 3 12 hour shifts and then I'm home to spend the rest of my days with my three year old.  The pay is great and when I get bored with one area I move on to the next! If you enjoy learning & don't mind stressful situations at times you'd enjoy it.  It's worth the student loans and hazing of nursing school!

I went for medical assistant.. I love drawing blood giving injections doing ekgs taking vitals . you can do so much

I went for radiography. The program was 21 months. I did sencond shift part time for a couple months then got a full time day shift job in MRI and I have now been in MRI for almost a year (just need to take boards). I Was able to save enough to buy a house and so I'd say the pay is pretty good.
