Help I'm confused

Today I noticed that I'm spotting, it's not a lot but it's enough to stain my underwear. I'm barley in the middle of my pack to its not the usual time for me to get my period. I've been on the pill for like 8 or 9 months and this has never happened. Should I be worried or its nothing to worry about ?
