HGC trigger shot - when to test
I had my trigger shot a week ago today. I was advised by my OB to test in two weeks (the 15th), and if I got a positive to test again in two more days to make sure it wasn't just the hormone from the shot. I saw in some other forums that women were testing way earlier because their bodies metabolized the hormone from the shot quicke. This meant they could potentially get a negative earlier to see when it kinda fell off and was out of their system.
My question is, I tested today (7 days after my initial shot after Clomid) and got a very faint positive. Is the hormone disappearing and that's why it's so faint? Or maybe it's picking up the HGC my body would produce from a pregnancy really early on and that's why it's faint? Basically I'm being impatient and trying to decide if this means I'm not pregnant 😫
