Has anyone heard of this?

I've known about it for around a year now, and was interested to know if any of you girls with IUDs know about it and woul consider getting it once it's on the market.

Currently they only have the copper one developed and it's currently going through trials.

There are plans for a hormonal one (progestin only) in the future.

I'd definitely be willing to try it (the hormonal one mostly, not a fan of copper).

The IUB shape is supposed to decrease the risk of perforations during insertion, reduce the risk of it being expelled (these two things are already so rare as it is) and also make it easier to insert and remove.
