Sexual pleasure?

So I just recently became sexually active with my boyfriend. I'm 19 btw. The first time hurt like heck which was expected, but we've had sex like a few more times after that and I don't know if it's because I'm still new at this or that I'm nervous or what but I don't really get so much pleasure out of it. It's not that I'm not attracted to him which I am a lot and I get turned on we kiss and hold each other but when it comes to sex I've never had that mind blowing feeling that I hear about. I just mostly feel pain (since he's big and I guess I'm still really tight). I just wanna know if it took any of you a bit of time to start enjoying sex and any tips on how to get better at it...:/
