Period After Birth?

4 weeks pp. I Stopped bleeding 2 weeks pp. and now I have light bleeding only when I wipe. Not sure if it's normal to have some bleeding after you stop or if it's my period? I am EBF. 🤔  FTM

After my first, my bleeding would come and go. It would stop for days at a time then come back as spotting and sometimes a little more than just spotting. Now I'm 3 weeks PP after my second and it's been the same. I will have days of hardly anything at all and then there will be one or two times in a day where it feels like I have a regular period but then that's it for a day or two. I think it has a lot to do with our activity level as well, certain things can trigger the flow. It will probably come and go for a while until it's all healed.

Answer

They consider all bleeding within the first 6 weeks to be birth related. Assuming you are breastfeeding, you may not get a period for a while.
