When is a good time to pack the hospital bag?

Is 28 weeks too soon? I know I need to pre-register soon, so I was just curious.

I wouldn't worry about packing until 35-36 weeks.

My dr had me registered at 8 weeks lol. But of course I put it off. I finally did it at 13 weeks. I'm 26 weeks and 4 days now and I wanna pack my bags now but I think I might wait til after my first baby shower next month.

I didn't pack my bag until I was 37 weeks.

With my first I packed my bag around 32 weeks just to be sure I had every thing ready incase baby came early.. and I will do the same for this one as I now live 2 hours away from the nearest hospital that deliver babies so I have to be ready to just grab my bag and go
