Birthing class?

This is my first pregnancy, do you think birthing classes are worth it? I'm a nurse and pretty familiar with the whole process and have seen births so I'm not sure what to expect from it?

I opted out of the classes because I've seen SO many births. That and I didnt want any preconceived ideas but wanted to trust my own body to do its thing. All of my sisters went to the classes and said that when it came time to give birth everything they learned went out the window and instinct kicked it. One of them said at first she was frustrated and discouraged because it was not like in the class. Other friends though I've told me it was very helpful  
One thing that is helpful, at least for me, is learning how to push but that you can practice and learn that on your own.

If ur a nurse and familiar with the process, then I'm pretty sure it would be usless for u to PAY for these things. ..
It's like me- I own my own IT business...I built my first computer at the age of 7. I'm now 32. Its like me saying that my computer has a virus and I'm gonna PAY a tech support company to fix it for me. . I AM THE TECH SUPPORT COMPANY. . I KNOW how to fix it..
Same with u.. ur a NURSE. .. u say ur family with the whole process... sooo...why PAY for it?

I mean doing it for the first time is so much different from seeing others do it.
It couldn't hurt to do classes?
