Baby???

Question

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 years now and he always jokes with mine about having a baby, and I'm to the point where I would like to have a child I know that I'm good with kids and my boyfriend even said it his self and I know we can afford to have a child so how do I tell him I want a child and why does he not want one

When I realized I wanted one, I looked at my (then boyfriend) and just said "I think I want to have a baby with you." I was so nervous and waited a while before telling him because I was scared of his response. I have never seen him so happy. Even if he's not ready, I think that's the best compliment you can give someone. Tell him how you feel, and go from there. I can't imagine anyone would get upset about that
