Dr prescribed me clomid yesterday.  He told me I could go ahead and start taking it although I was on CD10.  I have 40-45 day cycles. I ovulate, but it's like day 24-28.  He says he thinks that's the issues because by the time I actually ovulate my eggs are "old". He knows I ovulate and produce "good " eggs as well because he did an u/s a few months ago and I had 12 follicles ready & willing! Today is day 2 of clomid. I have a high reading on my opks (I'm guessing a false positive from the clomid, correct?) should I hold off on testing until after I finish the pills or just continue until I get a peak reading?  DH and I are going to BD every other day just in case but I was trying to figure out how taking the med this late in my cycle and opks should work?!? Advice?
