We decided to do a combined baby shower

A lot of gifts were sent to the door.

Should I be opening these gifts? Wait until tomorrow? Or just put them in baby room still in boxes.

What is the etiquette?

Our baby room is completly empty and Im afraid people are going to come tomorrow and ask about a sent gift, I feel rude replying its in a box in the basement.

Also heard dont open or wash because its bad luck. Ill be 35 weeks tomorrow.
