UTI while Pregnant?!

I went in to the ER today about my pelvic pain on my right side, and they cleared me of an ectopic pregnancy. I'm 4 weeks along & the doctor said I have UTI , she gave me antibiotics... But she also said that a UTI can cause a miscarriage. I'm scared. Has anyone been through this before?

I had a UTI in early pregnancy and I was given antibiotics. The first run of them didn't work. My pain subsided but my urine still stank. I told my MD and I was given a new Rx. Just take your meds and be sure to tell your doctor if your symptoms continue. Good luck!

Oh yes I had a realllllly bad uti I had blood in my urine and I was throwing up, just take the antibiotics and it'll go away and you should be fine. Mine was early on in my pregnancy and now I'll be in my 3rd trimester next Saturday!!!

I had one at about 7 weeks took the antibiotics and everything is ok I am currently 13 weeks and 2 days.
