40.3 weeks I think I'm in labor

Okay help me someone! 3 days over due, I think I'm in labor. Been having inconsistent contractions for almost 8 hours now. But they weren't very painful just period like cramps. Just in the last hour or so they've gotten pretty painful but still not consistent with timing. Should I go to the hospital anyways?

UPDATE: turns out I was in early labor! We went to the hospital that night and ended up getting my water broke around 9 the next morning, long story short I had our beautiful baby Dawson at 7:13 that evening!!
