Discharge after membrane sweep?

I'm 39+5 today, i wasn't progressing well only fingertip and 40% effaced, but my doc decided to do sweep today and opened cervix till 1.5 cm. I have a GD, but my baby is normal size and glucose under control, so he let me go over 40 weeks. Planning induction on 40+3;((( did you guys had a lot of mucus bloody discharge after sweep/strip? I had kind of painful contractions after that for 2.5 hours, than contractions became less painfull. now it is more BH contraction and some backpain, but still a lot of mucus/bloody stuff.
