Birth control with anxiety disorders?
Yep. This question has been floating between my mom and I for a while. I suffer from PTSD, GAD, and a bunch of other mental disorders but my main issue is anxiety..
It is known that, from my sisters and mom, that birth control pills make the women in my remote family turn into raging anxious monsters so since I've started considering birth control its seemed to be something I can't do.
I've googled it before I get people saying it helped and some saying it made anxiety worse.
I'm not sexually active, but due to my excessive worrying and young age (17), if I do start doing the do I want as much protection against conceiving as I possibly can.
I hope to talk to my doctor about this soon but until then any input would be great! 😊
