Is it possible?
I don't want this post to be a book but I'm wondering if it's possible for me to still get pregnant? Long story short, my husband and I have a 9 month old little girl. I breastfed only for a month and a half. After I stopped breastfeeding I had two consecutive, very regular 32 day cycles just like I had prior to getting pregnant. January 31st was the first day of my last "normal" cycle. My husband and I had been trying for #2 since the end of December so when I started missing periods I was convinced I was pregnant again! I had taken about a thousand pregnancy tests, all of course were negative. In June when it had been almost 5 months without a period, and no pregnancy my OB wanted to see me for some hormonal tests. On the 18th of June I started lightly spotting and it became "heavier" on the 29th of June, the day of my doctors appointment. When I went in she did blood work for thyroid and other hormonal imbalances and they all came back perfect. She asked me to make an appointment to come back 2 weeks later, which was July 15th. The "spotting/ bleeding " ended on the 9th of July. When I went in this past Friday she gave me a medication to kick start my period if I don't have one in the next 6-8 weeks. She said we would try that every month if I don't naturally start for 6 months and then try to move on to something like Clomid. My question after all this is: Could I still ovulate without having a regular cycle? Is it possible for me to get pregnant? Has anyone had super irregular cycles or none at all and gotten pregnant? I'm just really frustrated with my cycles and have no clue if I am or even can ovulate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 💗
