Are you getting the TDaP Vaccine while pregnant?

Hey lovely ladies.  I know this is a touchy subject.  Please no fighting over vaccines. We all have our own worries and decisions to make during pregnancy. Just curious how many are or aren't getting it. I'm supposed to get it in 2 days. Congrats mamas!

I'm getting it. Whatever you get for your body to build up antibodies against your baby will receive as well and help protect them better.

I can't get it (which is why I voted no), but am asking immediately family to get their boosters!

I did and I'm healthy and my son is healthy... it's just a decision you have to make you don't have to get it while you're pregnant you can wait till you have the baby or you don't have to get it at all

I already got it, and my husband will be getting his soon. We've also asked everyone who will be around her within the first 8 weeks to be vaccinated. My biggest aim is to protect her health before she can be vaccinated.

I'm not against vaccines so I get what they say I need. But what is this one for and why do people who are going to be around the baby need it??

Absolutely! I already got mine. My fiancé is getting his and so are my family members. I'll protect my little babe in any way that I can! :)

I am getting mine at the hospital after birth. That way antibodies will still get passed to baby breastfeeding but no risk of complications during pregnancy.

Indeed. Some people choose to wait until after the baby is born and get it to pass it on through the breast milk. Others are strictly against it because it's fairly new that doctors are recommending it - but the rates of children getting whooping cough have recently increased and that's why doctors are only now recently suggesting it.
