someone please answer this for me

Ok so I just got my first yeast infection (needless to say, it was awful). I suffered through it from July 10th to July 17th, but I used the monistat 1 combo pack on the night of the 17th. It's now been over 48 hours and I feel a lot better. I'm still using the cream for the occasional itch, but other than that nothing really feels off. However, I was also supposed to start my period on the 17th and it hasn't started yet. The box said that it was safe to use during my period, I just had to use pads instead of tampons, and I've been wearing pads just in case (and also because of the discharge). But my period is now 3 days late. I've never missed a period before. Can a yeast infection or the OTC treatment for it cause a late or missed period? Am I worrying for nothing?
