Could labour be near?

So I'm 38 weeks today and when I woke up and got out of bed my pelvis hurt worse than usual and so did my back and ive noticed that ive had a lot of pressure in my lower stomach that ive not had before and my stomach keeps going hard then soft, could labour be near or is this just normal?

Sounds like how I feel when baby is dropping lower into the pelvis.

When your 38 weeks labor is always near😄.. But your tummy being hard then soft could be contractions.. Especially if cramping. Maybe your having back labor.. I'd check it out just to be sure..
