Should I test? I had my first IUI on 7/7, my doctor wants me to test 14dpiui

IUI on 7/7, my doctor wants me to test 14dpiui" />
I believe I had implantation bleeding 7dpiui (8dpo) but I feel like af is coming any minute. My cycles are always 28-29 days and today is cd 29. Should I test tomorrow like the MD wants me to or wait a few more days when af is officially "late"?
