Time zone change? Bc pills? HELP!

So I just started bc pills a few days ago and I take them at 8.15am. I live on the east coast and I'm going out of town soon to Chicago which is an hour behind. Will I need to take my pills at 7.15am instead while I'm there?? It's just a short 3 day trip.. but I don't want to screw up my protection!

I mean personally I'd take it at 7:15 because it would make me feel better but one hour isn't really going to change anything

Maybe it depends on what pill you're taking but my doctor said a slight change in the time you take it isn't that big of a deal as long as you take it consistently around that same time. An hour different shouldn't be too big of a deal, but if you can take it at 7:15, it wouldn't hurt. If you're really concerned about it, use condoms as backup birth control until the next month after your period when you can take it consistently.
