First ultrasound ?:(

Seems like everyone else gets their first ultrasound in the first weeks of their pregnancy. I haven't gotten one:( and I'm dying to see my bby. I'm 13 weeks. My friend got hers at 8 weeks, another at 10 weeks, & I haven't. Whyyyy ? 😭 when did you get your first ultrasound ?

I had one at 6&8 weeks, but was high risk for several reasons. It's common in a normal pregnancy to only have 2.

I had my first at 8 weeks, then the NT scan at 12 weeks, and the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I'm not sure when or if I'll get another one. A lot of the times it's what your insurance covers.

My sister in law said because the ultrasounds are done at a different office in a different building she had to schedule different appointments for her sonograms. Maybe this is how things are with your doctor? We got a sonogram at our first appointment, but my doctor has everything in the same office. I'm surprised they waited this long to have you do one.

I got mine at 8 weeks and getting another at 11. Every dr is different though.

Every doctor is different. Yours just believes in doing an ultrasound later in pregnancy! 😢😢 I'm sure it's frustrating to you!

That's weird I got mine at 7 weeks 5 days, maybe you should call the doctor again and tell him your worry and really need an sonogram!!

There are places you can go to see your baby & most the time you can see your baby better there machines at the doctors aren't that good, you can look them up online they just cost money .. But ther totally worth it
