Hip Dysplasia?

My DD just had her 4 month check up and dr is worried about her one hip not being where it's supposed to be? We are scheduled for an US on her hips, but now I am all paranoid and worried. Has anyone been through this that could help calm me down? Thank you!

My oldest daughter was born breech and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and wore the Pavlik Harness from 2 months-4 months old or so. She met all of her crawling/walking milestones and is now 9 and dances all over the house and does the splits, cartwheels, etc. At the time I felt bad she had to wear it but it was such a short time span of her life and was thankfully it was easily corrected, and now she's perfectly fine. It will be okay!!

My friend had this, she had to wear a harness but then she was fine.

Going through this as well with my DD. She was frank breech and hip displasia is common because of that. We already had a hip ultrasound which led us to see an orthopedic. The orthopedic recommended we come back for X-rays when she is 6 months old. He said they can grow out of it by then but if not she will have to wear a leg harness for a couple months.

I was born with hip dysplasia in both hips  (one of my legs was twisted around as well) I was in a leg brace for the first month or so that held my legs in place. Still have hip pain once in a while.
