Help with spelling please !!

I assumed it was Carmelo but when I saw my husband spell it Carmello I didn't realize he wanted 2 Ls. He wants to be more original. I should compromise since I picked the name. But I already call my baby melo (he's due in a couple weeks) and I don't feel like spelling it mello lol. What do you think ?
