I've been hospitalized with my severe throat ache and infection! My throat was swelling shut, lymph nodes on left side huge, temperature high, nausea and vomiting. I was 16 weeks exactly. The rapid strep A test was negative. They discharged me home after hours and hours. Called me a few days ago and said I have group F strep growing in my throat! Wtf? I still feel bad and it's nearly 2 weeks ago.

Gargle with Apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, alternating. They are both awful but it will kill and bad bacteria in your throat. For the stuffy nose you can irrigate your sinuses with salt water. I hated being sick when I was pregnant!!!! Sorry!

Omg...I don't have much advice, lol, I'm sorry but I can offer sympathy! For the third time in three months I have a sore throat, sinus pressure, etc. And I never get sick! I have just been taking Tylenol for pain and drinking hot tea with honey, it helps soothe my throat and clear my sinuses a little. Feel better!!
