💜"Oh you're so young! Take your time!"

I know people mean well, but I either get the, "Oh you're so young" comment, the "Your life will be over!" comment or the, "When are you guys going to have a baby?" question. I mean I get it. My husband is 34 soon to be 35 and I am 35.  No we are not old, but not 25 either. Also, I do understand that life after having a baby/kids is dramatically different, but some of the things that people say.... Wow!! I guess it's just that I've been struggling with this a bit lately.  Been TTC for a year and two months now. I know so many have been trying a lot longer, so my heart goes out to you. We are in the midst of infertility testing, so we know what we are looking at and our options. I am the 2nd oldest of my first cousins and my twin sister has three kids. I am very blessed to be around family, but I am always the only one without kids and the majority of the conversations revolve around their kids. Again, I get it.  It's just been tough. I don't use social media anymore due to the fact that everyone seems to be getting pregnant and I don't want to not feel happy for them. I don't like the envious feeling. I just wish people would be more sensitive about their comments and constantly asking.... "So when are you going to have kids?" 😀😂💜
