My poor 2 week old son has thrush in his mouth and we started giving him Nystatin as directed by his pediatrician today. He was eating fine throughout the night but is unable to take a bottle today because his mouth is so sore. I feel absolutely terrible, we formula feed and sanitize his bottles after every feed I don't know how he got it. He's so fussy because he's hungry and all I do is cry for him because I know he's uncomfortable. You can tell it hurts for him to swallow. How long does it take Nystatin to work? Any tips for me to get him to eat?
