How to tell boyfriend's mother that we're expecting?

I'm not sure how to tell my boyfriend's mother that we're expecting.  He wants to just tell her after work tonight (about 2 1/2 hours from now)  and I want something cute!  Any tips or ideas would be appreciated!

I gave my parents and in laws a Dr. Suess book and inside I wrote "Dear Grandma and grandpa. Please hold on to this book for me. I can't wait until you can read it to me! I'll be there January 2015! Love always, Baby J"

Make her a card that she can keep forever! Especially if it's her first grand baby ;) just hand make a card and she'll be just as surprised as she would be any other cute way 😌 I would write "roses are red, violets are blue, someone's going to be a grandma, and that someone is you!"

Head to your local Walmart/target and find a cheap onesie that has grandma written on it!!! :)
