When do you feel like you REALLY became an adult?

Everyone matures at their own rate depending on their life circumstances. So despite legal ages, when do you feel you REALLY became an adult?

It's a state of mind. I'm 26, and I sometimes feel like a grownup when I'm budgeting or paying bills. But usually I feel silly and still young, despite being a mom.

I felt like an adult at the age of 17, once I had my first son. But I didn't feel like I was fully mature and wise until I was 30... That's just me.. I know everyone matures differently.

I was paying my own insurance,  car payment,  and a bill at home,  babysitting 6 kids full time, buying groceries, cooking every night,  all the cleaning and yard work at 16. Not much has changed from then to now (over 12 years) except I have my own kids now lol and it's MY house in paying for!

I'm 23. Sometimes I feel mature and know I'm an adult. Other times I feel immature, restless and just want to have fun and ignore responsibility. So I guess I don't really feel like an adult full-time yet, even though I rent a house, pay bills and have a child lol. I suppose it's different for everyone.

When I was 16 I was working 3 jobs while going to school. Now I am a house wife who usually finishes everything quickly and then sits around going "Now What?" lol! Plus I moved from a big city (Long Beach, CA/ Los Angeles) to the country... Everything moves so much slower out here... Even the local mall opens much later than I am used to (been looking for a part time job.)

It was between 21 and 25. I had my first child at 21, but I don't feel like I actually matured until 23-25. I'm now almost 28.

At 16, because that's when I got pregnant with my son and I had him at 17. Now I'm 18 and SO, josiah (my son) and I are moving into our home tomorrow! grew up fast but it's worth it for me
