Help about my piercing???

I heard that this is some type of infection but it's happened to me about 3-4 times now. How do I stop it!?? It just ends up bursting and bleeding a lot and then healing after a week and just starts over again the next week like now. P.S this is a belly button piercing and I leave it alone for the most part unless I'm cleaning it I don't understand why it's doing it I've had this since the start of December

Try cleaning it with warm water and sea salt in a shot glass. Don't over clean it

Just go get it checked! Also, make sure it's real metal! My body rejected mine because I had to put fake metal in it for a short period of time

When I had mine done I had the exact same thing for weeks. Then I had to take it out as I was having an operation and when I got home I tried to put the jewellery back in but it was really tight and I accidentally pushed the piercing through the bump and it kind of burst and all the stuff came out of it. It didn't really hurt was just a scratch so I cleaned it up and it was absolutely fine after that! I've had no problems since and had it pierced for 8 years now. Maybe try piercing the bump with a sterile needle to see if you can get it to drain? But make sure to keep it clean if you do until it properly heals.

That actually looks like your allergic to the bar. Go back to your piercer and ask them. I had something similar that was actually an allergic reaction to my ring I had it pierced with and once we changed it it was fine.

I had the same thing happen to me. My piercer didn't put real jewelry in mine and I'm allergic to fake so it got infected. My body rejected it and it turned black it was gross! I went to a different place a couple months later to get it re-pierced and now I've had it repierce it for four years and it has been fine.

Dont move the jewelry idk how your cleaning routine is but you should just be doing sea salt water soaks for 5-10 minutes a day try not to touch the piercing and when showering try to keep scented soaps away from it (obviously be careful of whatever you use to wash your body as it can tug the jewelry) do not take an infected piercing out that will trap the infection inside i would keep up the soaks everyday and during the day you could get a large bandaid and put it over (one that has the gauze big enough so none of the sticky is on the piercing) then leave the top not stuck so it can breathe but this will prevent anything feom rubbing/tugging on the jewelry and you can have your piercer check it out to make sure everythings ok

My industrial did the same thing for the first year and then one time the bump fell off and never reformed.

I would take it out immediately and cleanse it and leave it out until it heals. And then get it repierced at a different place. It looks like your body is rejecting that. The same thing happened to me and I got it repierced after it healed and it was fine.
