Paragard side effects?

Hello everyone. I'm currently on the pill and am thinking about switching to a longer term solution as my husband and I have no desire for children anytime soon. Has anyone had any horror stories with Paragard? Weight gain? I've heard about heavier periods and cramping, but think I'm mentally prepared for it. 😁 I've had Mirena in the past, but toward the end I had side effects. Would like to go the hormone-free route. Effects on sex drive? Unfortunately, I sometimes suffer with this and feel like the mirena was the cause. Thank you in advance, Ladies!! (Sorry so long)
