Painting

So I started painting one of our rooms yesterday. I started with the accent wall which is a really pretty green in my opinion. It is called Lagoon Moss. It is a darker green but not a depressing dark color more of a relaxing dark color since this is our guest room. Well now that I look at the room I am going to finish it today. The other walls went from this weird peachy salmon orange color to the orange color on the couch of the Brady bunch... Right now the room looks really dark because the brown in the orange is showing more due to the green wall. Sometimes I hate being artistic and growing up always using color theory for everything. But at the same time I like the fact that I can determine what is wrong with the colors and being able to fix it. Anyways I thought it was kind of funny even if it is messing with my "artist's mind".

UPDATE: the whole room was that weird orange. We didn't like it so we are painting it. I have the green color and a nice creamy parchment color that goes well with it. I just thought that it was funny to walk into the room this morning and finding that the orange was now pulling more brown next to the green. Didn't get to bed until midnight last night after painting the wall and taping everything else off.
