I actually found out around 4 weeks with a home pregnancy test. Confirmed it with a blood test at 5 weeks. Your best bet is to just get the blood test done. It's the most accurate.

That looks like a cheapo test. You might have better luck with a better brand as they are more sensitive.

5weeks 1 day since your last period? In general that would have to be a bfp by now in case you are pregnant and of you have regular cycles around 28-30 days. Belly size does not really indicate much, I am afraid. Id wait another week and in case it is still a negative and AF is no show I would definitely visits doctor. There is still chance to be pregnant but by that time I had my BFP, well I had it at 4 weeks.
