I work in retail and I say absolutely wash them. I actually unbox and unbag our clothes when they come in and every hour I have to go wash my hands and arms because the chemicals on the clothing irritates my skin so bad. We get a lot in that we have to air dry because it reeks so bad of formaldehyde and the other chemicals they use.

You never know who went to the bathroom, didn't wash their hands, then touched that outfit before you bought it.

Why wouldn't you? It's not a lot of laundry and you're washing away who knows what. Ever see a kid wipe his nose on clothes at a store? I have. New doesn't mean clean.

Fabric is covered in chemicals to keep it looking nice while hanging up and the shelves at the stores. Why put that directly on your sensitive little baby?

I wasn't saying that i dont wash my babies new clothes because i do i wash everything down to covers and bibs i was just wondering if other people do it too cuz i was told im "doing to much"

No, I don't wash them with my previous pregnancies either. Actually didn't find out that people wash them until getting on this app lol this is baby #3 so not going to wash them with her either
