I was contemplating it for weeks and then one night, my stomach started hurting and just wanted to lay down on the couch. My boyfriend's back was hurting but he started making food, and his back worsen so he kicked me off the couch and made me continue cooking his food. I was irritated with him and he sensed that. I thought I was overreacting though and said sorry. As he was putting his daughter to bed, I thought 'okay, now is the moment, I'm going to tell him I love him.' When he came out of the room, he sat on the couch next to me and said it first. This was about 7 months into us dating, and now as we approach our one year, I wish there was something else I could say that would make it feel like a big deal again. ❤
