I had cerdivl put in around 1030 pm last night, and contractions started instantly. They progress quickly and by 1, I asked for mild pain medicine through the IV. By 2:30, my contractions were 2 minutes apart and when my nurse checked on me at 3:30, I was 8 cm! She called the physician on call, who said at 3:45, I was 10 cm!!

He told me I needed to get ready to have a baby. Everything happened so fast and I didn't even have a chance to think about medication and sure enough at 4:44, baby Lola was born.

Congratulations to all the mamas and soon to be mamas! Your body was made for this.
