Corpus luteum cyst normal?

Everything was confirmed today at my first appointment and I'm about 6 weeks 2 days. We saw the heartbeat! I was also told I have a corpus luteum cyst. I was told this is normal but of course this being my first pregnancy I'm worrying about it.  Anyone else have this, and is it really normal and nothing to worry about?

Corpus luteum cyst forms after you've ovulated. The cyst will increase the thickness of your uterus to secure implantation and the cyst will encourage progesterone until your placenta takes over around 10 weeks. You need this cyst to help your tiny baby grow. :) don't be scared Mama, your body is doing exactly what is should be doing.
