Still single and irritated

Okay ladies, so before you throw rocks, if you have any, keep them to yourself. Looking for constructive advice.
Now, my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years, and we are very aware that we're the one for the other. We don't believe in sex before marriage, and we don't want to live together before either. Now, we weren't before, but are now in a financial position to get married. We've talked about it, and he said he wants to take that step, and he and I both feel the same way: we hate saying goodbye instead of goodnight. I miss him so much some days all I can do is cry, because it's a physical pain. However, we aren't going anywhere. We've been talking about marriage for about a year now, and it hasn't gone anywhere. He hasn't proposed, he hasn't hinted that he might. Not to mention, we have been together the longest out of our friends and are the only ones who aren't at least engaged. I know that sounds petty, and I hate feeling this way.. I'm just kinda salty about it, and I'm kinda over being single and not being able to just come home to him and start life. What should I do? Anybody else going through the same thing?? Thanks ladies!!
